Jacquie was a godsend when our son was born. We were pretty clear we didn’t want many people around after his birth so we could spend time getting comfortable in our own little family unit. However, we didn’t know how exhausted we would be, or how many questions we would have! Jacquie stayed up with Arlo in the middle of the night to afford us some precious sleep. And she helped this new mama with baby basics like baby wearing, bathing and sleeping– without judgement or fanfare. She also naturally made sure the house was clean, healthy meals were made, and fresh water was always by my side. She is the kind of person who knows how to step in and help without a great deal of direction–never overstepping the line–just having a natural sense about what will be helpful in any situation.
